3D IPTV On Powerline Solution

The Aachen Manufacturer Devolo showed its collection of products and solutions for network-based 3D TV entertainment at the CeBIT 2011. In Hall 15, Stand H43, it exhibited the new power line-generation dLAN 500, with a transmission speed of 500 Mb / s for Triple Play services such as broadband Internet, 3D IPTV and Voice over IP to for the best quality.  The company announced this on 4 February.

"High-resolution movies in 3D require twice the bandwidth compared to conventional high-definition video," said Heiko Harbers, CEO of devolo AG. "DLAN 500 with its guarantees of constant high transmission power, the availability of such content throughout the home. dLAN 500 is based on the international IEEE-1901 standard and is therefore compatible with all standards according to Powerline adapters as well as the previous generation dLAN dLAN 200th.

In addition, dLAN 500 offers a complete TR069 support for comprehensive remote management: For example, you can be remotely playing with the new firmware through the Internet Service Provider or the complete product set up can be automatically configured. The first adapter of the dLAN 500-portfolios will be available in April 2011 in the trade.
